A start-up that disrupted the local cab industry in 2009 and evolved into a technology company with the invaluable asset of 24/7 operational excellence and wisdom. We dominated the market in Malta building proprietary technology from the ground up serving Malta’s dense and challenging road network, successfully competing with global brands.

Just a decade ago, a movement was created that went on to sweep across the globe, transforming the very fabric of metropolitan life where mobility is concerned. It was the advent of peer-to-peer ride-hailing. Of course, with every sweeping change comes plenty of disruption – jobs shifted, economies were created, customer expectations adjusted to the convenience, and an industry suddenly existed alongside the other transport giants like railways and airlines. The model provided a previously unachievable level of convenience in the form of individual, on-demand, affordable travel.
eCabs is a dominant player in this market and we recognize this position as one that places a responsibility on us to consider our impact on society. As we deliver even more convenience to our riders, we also work hard to ensure that our drivers are fairly compensated for their work, feel secure and are respected for the remarkable men and women they are. We don’t stop there, however.
